- Monoclonal antibodies
- Discovery and validation of new targets (biomarkers) with applications in diagnostic assays
MUbio BV develops and manufactures, according to strict ISO 9001 quality guidelines, high quality antibody reagents used in R&D. A number of these antibodies has potential for use in cancer diagnostics.
Applications (based on immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin embedded tissues, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, western blotting, ELISA, ...) have to do with:
| Antibodies directed to | Interest fields |
|---|---|
| Annexins | Apoptosis |
| Cell adhesion molecules | Cancer |
| Cell cycle markers | Cardiovascular |
| CD markers | Cell adhesion |
| Cytokines | Cell cycle |
| Cytoskeletal proteins | Cell differentiation |
| Extracellular matrix proteins | Cell proliferation |
| Filamentous phage proteins | Cell signaling |
| Haematology markers | Cytoskeleton |
| Hormones | Immunology |
| Membrane proteins | Neurobiology |
| Nuclear proteins | Stem cell research |
| Tumour markers |
Also, cross species reactivity is an important asset of MUbio´s antibodies. In particular, Mubio is offering antibodies to be used in the zebrafish model of the pharmaceutical R&D.
Products are distributed worldwide through a selected number of distributors and on an OEM basis, direct from MUbio as the original producer. An important core competence of the company is to provide the right technical support, extensive scientific data, images, pictures and literature references for each individual product.
In addition, in proprietary and partnered development programs MUbio is investigating, testing and validating patented antibodies and antigens for diagnostic applications in the field of lung and other cancers.
Own IP is available in the fields of Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
To extend its product range of antibodies and diagnostic applications, MUbio is continuously in close contact with different academic institutions and research groups to select additional opportunities.
